On Monday 29 May, began a series of relaxed, laid-back blues concerts in the hall of the Belgrade Youth Center – Monday Blues.
In the first “episode” performed duo behind the project “The Untouchablues” and rock band The Untouchables: Aleksandar Djukic bass and voice, and Bojan Vulin guitar and voice.
By the end of June each Monday (5, 12, 19 and 26 June) will be organized Monday Blues gig. Admission will, of course, be free.
When it comes to the Belgrade blues scene, its long and glorious tradition largely is related just to DOB.
It is right to say that just through his room last all generations of musicians in this genre – the immeasurable contribution to the development of sound, has been confirmed in more recent times. Belgrade Youth Center was the site of numerous blues club concerts where the audience presented both new and old, checked names.
Blues is a fundamental musical form from deriving almost all other forms of popular music, and as such represents a formula for the best in entertainment, especially at the end of the longest day.
Monday Blues is a way to offer the audience a noble and relaxed musical experience.
